Nick has a very broad background in TV – as an indie producer and as a broadcast network executive in both cable and free-to-air.

He is co-founder of CJZ. The group has produced more original prime-time Australian TV formats in the last 2 decades than any other production company. CJZ’s shows have won Logies, AACTAs, the Rose d’Or for both Go Back to Where You Came From and Gruen as well as an Emmy for Go Back….

A former radio producer and lapsed entertainment lawyer, Nick’s past experience includes: General Manager Business Affairs at Network Ten, General Manager (and sometime producer) at Artist Services (now ITV Studios Australia) and founding CEO of cable network the Comedy Channel. He set up his own indie production company Jigsaw Entertainment in 1999, which morphed into CJZ in 2005.

Nick is a former President of the SPA but now looks after the fish tank at the CJZ Sydney office.

Nick is currently working on studio based entertainment shows for the ABC. He has also worked across many of CJZ’s dramas including BlackJack, My Life is Murder and House of Hancock. He also has had the joy of running the ensuing litigation.
