Domestic & international industry leaders make up SCREEN FOREVER 38
Advisory Boards
10 Oct 2023
Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is pleased to today announce the domestic and international screen executives that will sit across two advisory boards for SCREEN FOREVER 38, taking place 19 – 21 March 2024 on Queensland’s picturesque Gold Coast, followed by an Online Global Market from 26 – 27 March 2024.
The boards announced today include key international screen professionals from the UK and USA with a wealth of varied accomplishments and experience, which when teamed with the local industry professionals from Australia on each of the boards, will deliver new focus points, diverse opinions and exciting inclusions that will form the program for SCREEN FOREVER 38 and the structure of the SPA Connect Market.
Both Advisory Boards will play integral roles in setting strategic direction for the 38th iteration of Australia’s premier screen industry event SCREEN FOREVER. The Program Advisory Board will support the creation of an inspirational, thought-provoking, and business-focused program, and the Market Advisory Board will help develop a wealth of co-production, distribution, and financing opportunities available through the SPA Connect Market.
“Delivering accessible and abundant business outcomes for our members and the wider Australian screen sector has always been the foundation of SCREEN FOREVER. We’re excited to welcome domestic and international screen practitioners to both advisory boards announced today,” said SPA CEO Matthew Deaner.
“Both boards have been carefully curated and encompass industry professionals with invaluable insight and experience in producing successful screen projects. These boards will aid SPA in delivering a program and SPA Connect Market laden with unmissable networking events, business meetings and inspiring thought leadership,” said Mr Deaner.
The Boards held their initial meeting this week to begin discussions on program content and SPA Connect Market opportunities, providing guidance in the lead-up to SCREEN FOREVER 38.
