Biography
Hugh Baldwin brings over two decades of experience in television and entertainment to his role as Executive Producer of Development at Flying Bark Productions.
Hugh oversees the broader development slate for Flying Bark and his particular focus is the After Bark slate, which is developing content tailored for older audiences, including live-action series, formats and features. With a passion for innovative storytelling and a commitment to cultivating projects that resonate with adult viewers, Hugh plays a pivotal role in Flying Bark's expansion into live-action content.
Prior to joining After Bark, Hugh spent 15 years leading the content and programming strategy for Nickelodeon in Australia and New Zealand and under the Paramount banner. Hugh was the Head of Programming for MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Spike & 10Shake Kids. At Nickelodeon, Hugh was the Executive Producer of two Logie-nominated series, as well as multiple live music events and series.
Most recently, Hugh was an Executive Producer for PostMatch, a sport-focussed creative agency and production house and a private consultant in the technology space. He is on the board of proptech company Vennu, has sat on the board of Screen Tasmania, and worked as a writer, producer, and journalist.
