Orange Entertainment Co. creates compelling stories with ground breaking talent. Since launching in 2019, Orange produced ABC comedy series Retrograde alongside Unless Pictures, executive produced the Network Ten documentary Lindy Chamberlain: The True Story with Easy Tiger, and produced Nine Network premium true crime documentary series Missing Persons Investigation with Southern Pictures. In 2024 Orange will release two new productions - dark comedy feature Audrey starring Jackie van Beek, co-produced with Invisible Republic and premiering at SXSW Film and TV Festival, and ABC comedy series White Fever (with Black Sheep Films and Unruly Productions), created by Ra Chapman.

Dan Lake is the Head of Content for Australian production company Orange Entertainment Co. Dan’s work in development, financing and production extends across feature film, broadcast drama and comedy as well as factual and reality programming. Dan was co-producer of feature documentary The Frackman and award-winning Australia-Canada co-production Early Winter, an indie feature that won the Venice International Film Festival’s Venice Days Award. From 2014 to 2017 Dan was Senior Vice President – Development & Production at Screen Queensland. Dan has also worked as a creative producer across some of the world’s biggest television formats – I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, The Block and MasterChef. Since founding Orange Entertainment Co in 2019, Dan has produced the ambitious ABC dramedy Retrograde, as well as executive produced the Network Ten / Fremantle doc series Lindy Chamberlain – The True Story, the 9 Network / Fremantle factual series Missing Persons Investigation and the short films Shiny One and Finding Jedda - the latter of which won the 2022 AACTA for best short film. OEC recently completed the feature film Audrey which will premiere at SXSW in 2024, and is in post on the ABC Comedy series White Fever from creator Ra Chapman. As well as his role at OEC, Dan is also Longform Business Director at The Post Lounge.
