The spotlight is firmly on the GOLD COAST as we proudly welcome Screen Forever 40 - a milestone year for one of the southern hemisphere’s most influential gatherings of screen industry leaders.
For four decades, Screen Forever has connected the creators, innovators and decision-makers shaping film, television and digital content. It’s only fitting that this landmark event is held in a city that has become Australia’s most dynamic screen production hubs.
The Gold Coast is where global productions are made, major investments land and creative careers are built. With world-class facilities, highly skilled crews and a proven track record of delivering for international studios, our city continues to play an important role in Australia’s screen industry, employing thousands of residents and contributing millions to our local economy.
This success is backed by a proactive framework. The Gold Coast was the first local government in Australia to introduce a Screen Attraction Program, delivered through our Film Commission, providing expert guidance on incentives, approvals and government pathways. In partnership with Shadowbox Studios, we are delivering a world-class production precinct in the northern Gold Coast, with sound stages, backlots and post-production facilities, further strengthening our global position.
What sets the Gold Coast apart is our mindset.
We are a city that says yes to bold ideas, new voices and the opportunities that drive this industry forward. We are opening doors, building stages, hosting festivals and backing creatives at every level.
Screen Forever remains a cornerstone event in its 40th year, bringing industry leaders together to share ideas, forge partnerships, drive innovation and deliver projects to global audiences.
To all delegates, partners and guests - welcome to the city that says yes - to anyone with the talent and the nerve to try.
We say yes to people like you.
We look forward to supporting your time on the Gold Coast and the conversations that will shape the future of the industry.
