IP has never been more important as a commodity in the global TV market. In this intensely competitive time, good quality and highly prized IP can mean a clear creative and financial pathway to production. But in our smaller market, which cannot usually achieve the same sky high option fees for books written by Australian authors who are often represented by agents out of the US and the UK, and are focussed on those markets, how do we compete?
