Biography
Cyna Strachan (she/her) is a producer and co-founder of Mad Ones. Drawing on her background in music, art and design, Cyna is passionate about championing bold, queer and female-driven stories.

Cyna was co-producer on Sophie Hyde’s JIMPA, starring Olivia Colman and John Lithgow, which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. She is also an executive producer on the upcoming feature film It’s All Going Very Well No Problems At All, written and directed by Tilda Cobham-Hervey, who also stars alongside Jonathan Pryce. Most recently, Cyna produced the SBS Digital Originals Series Homebodies, starring Claudia Karvan, which premiered at Series Mania in 2026.

Cyna has produced an expansive catalogue of award-winning short films that have screened at leading international festivals, including TIFF, SXSW, MIFF and Sydney Film Festival. Previously, she was Production Executive at Aquarius Films, where she worked across projects including The Unusual Suspects (SBS), Born to Spy (ABC), and served as Associate Producer on Love Me S1 (Binge) and Savage River (ABC).
