Biography
Greg is currently writing and executive producing Season 3 of Central Intelligence, an audio series he co-created for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds. In 2025 Central Intelligence received the BBC’s special Award for Outstanding Achievement and it is now the most downloaded scripted audio series ever on BBC Sounds.
He also wrote the scripted audio series Saigon – adapted from the novel by Anthony Grey for iHeart - and Hiroshima, adapted from Paul Ham’s book, also for iHeart.
In 2025 he published The Mushroom Murders (Allen & Unwin), which was longlisted for the 2026 Australian Independent Booksellers Award, and in 2024 he published In the Dead of Night, which was shortlisted for Australia’s Danger Award for true crime writing.
In 2023 he was co-creator and showrunner on Human Error, a fictional crime series for Roadshow Rough Diamond and the Nine Network, nominated for both an AACTA and a Logie for Best Mini-series.
From 2001-2018 Greg was Head of Drama for Australian Independent prodco Screentime. In that role, Greg produced and delivered over 200 hours of drama for 7, 9, 10, the ABC, Stan, Foxtel and Netflix. In total these shows received over 40 Logie and AFI/AACTA Awards and nominations and Screentime twice won the Screen Producer Association’s Producer of the Year. Major titles during this period include Underbelly, Janet King, Anzac Girls, Pine Gap, Wolf Creek II (The Stan mini-series), Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, Tim Winton’s Cloudstreet, False Witness, The Informant, The Society Murders, Mary Bryant and MDA.
