Deborah Spinocchia is the Head of Unscripted at BBC Studios ANZ overseeing the factual and entertainment slate including, Ray Martin: The Last Goodbye, The Matchmakers, Top Gear Australia, Dancing with the Stars, 1% Club, Mastermind and Bake Off amongst others.

Since joining BBC Studios Australia, she has been nominated for 5 AACTA Awards and 1 AIDC Award. Along with winning the 2026 AACTA and 2025 SPA Awards for Best Reality, The Great Australian Bake Off.

Deborah joined from Screentime Australia where she was Executive Producer of the AACTA & AIDC nominated documentary, The School That Tried to End Racism. Prior to this, Deb has been Executive Producer and Producer at numerous leading companies including Network Seven, Screentime, Southern Star Entertainment, Endemol Shine, Fremantle Media, SBS and ABC.

Deborah is deeply involved in growing and building the Australian factual industry.

Deborah’s passion for great storytelling allows her to be both a creative leader and a motivated producer that creates memorable and powerful content.
