Biography
Corrie Chen is a highly-sought after and award-winning Australian director and writer. She directed episodes of the Disney+ series The Artful Dodger and Good Cop/Bad Cop, which won the Jury Special Prize for Cast Performance at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Corrie authored the Stan limited series Bad Behaviour, nominated for the Berlinale Series Award, Logies, ADG and an AACTA Award for Best Miniseries.
Her directing credits include New Gold Mountain, which earned her an Australian Directors’ Guild Award for Best Direction in a Miniseries, as well as Wentworth, Five Bedrooms, and Sisters. Corrie previously directed and executive produced multi-award winning Homecoming Queens, the first SBS Digital Original series.
Recognised for her industry impact, Corrie received the Screen Presence Trailblazer Award, VicScreen’s Greg Tepper Award, and was named one of the Asian-Australian Leadership Summit’s 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australians.
