Carla de Jong is an Emmy Award-winning producer who has held various roles both as a producer and broadcaster in Australia, Canada and the UK. Before joining Sinking Ship Entertainment, she was Head of Commissioning and Development for ABC Australia and Executive in Charge of Production and Development at CBC in Canada.

Carla has created and produced a number of successful series for the BBC in the UK and Network Ten in Australia and served as Executive Producer for live-action and animated series including most recently Flower and Flour (ABC,TVO,SRC) Beyond Black Beauty (Amazon Prime Video), Odd Squad (TVO/PBS/CBBC), Builder Brothers Dream Factory (Courus) and Ghostwriter (Apple TV+). Carla’s work has been recognized both locally and internationally at the Emmy Awards, the BAFTAS, the Kidscreen Awards, The Prix Jeunesse Awards, The Canadian Screen Awards and the BANFF World Media Awards.
