Holly Trueman is the CEO of Screen Canberra; she also chairs the ACT Government's Ministers Creative Council. An accomplished screen industry professional, she has over 20 years of experience in both the UK and Australia. Before leading Screen Canberra, Holly was an Executive Producer and Head of Production at Wildbear Entertainment, where she managed multiple film and television projects for an International and Domestic market. With a background that includes a PhD in Malaria Research and work with the BBC and ABC science units, Holly is passionate about fostering creative talent. At Screen Canberra, her main focus is growing the local industry and supporting both emerging and established practitioners to create a sustainable and vibrant hub for the creative industries in the ACT.
