Trefz is a Creative Digital Strategist and UX Consultant, specialized in novel interactive brand and product experiences. His expertise lies in conceptualising ambient interactive installations, IoT devices and reactive environments where marketing, architecture, design and the digital merge into an integrated customer experience, bridging digital and physical worlds.

Elmar Trefz is able to lead interactive projects from a high level idea through to custom executions across diverse channels. His approach ensures that UX remains core to the concept and provides a truly experiential solution for the target audience. He has worked for clients such as Honda, SalesForce, Google, LG and Lexus.

Additionally Elmar Trefz holds a PhD in Smart Cities and is involved in the academic research community which allows him to stay on top of the latest digital trends and developments. His academic experience consists of seven years teaching and researching data visualization and IoT devices.
