Michael Agar / Mind The Gap
Michael is in a unique position to talk about the nexus of art and commerce, having been a chartered accountant in the 1980s, a film and theatre producer in the 1990s, a film festival director in the 2000s and a finance and investment executive over the last 13 years. In 2016, he returned to the film industry as co-founder of Mind the Gap Film Finance, a boutique cashflow lender to the low budget sector. In the first 3 years of business Mind The Gap has lent to over 40 productions, ranging from low budget narrative features, theatrical documentaries, a wide range of television programs and a number of multi-platform series.
