Sarah Tong / Hat Trick International
Sarah Tong has worked in international programme sales for over 25 years - working for independent distributors, producer distributors and broadcaster owned distributors.
Sarah has been at the helm of Hat Trick International since 2007 managing acquisitions, operations and global sales. Since joining Hat Trick she has expanded the catalogue to include content from third party producers both within the Hat Trick Group (Plum, Emporium, Livewire) as well as outside the Group (such as Keo, Hungry Bear, Blink, Outline and Pulse Films), which now accounts for more than 50% of the catalogue. Hat Trick specialise in comedy, drama, entertainment and factual programming, across all media for both formats and finished programmes.
Prior to joining Hat Trick, Sarah helped launch UK distributor Minotaur where she worked for 12 years, running the company for the last 7 years once it was under the ownership of Virgin Media. Previously Sarah held posts at Shine, Pavilion and VATV. Her experience in Australian television distribution includes representing titles such as Heartbreak High, Drama School, All Saints and more recently Struggle Street and River Cottage Australia.
