Description

Australian television is struggling to cope with the disruptions caused by digital technologies and streaming services. While other territories are facing similar challenges transforming how drama is funded, commissioned, and experienced by audiences, there are some aspects of Australia’s television market that make it distinctive.

This panel will present recent research investigating Australia’s television economy, how Australia’s situation compares to other countries and the difficulties facing producers of scripted content.
