Biography
A highly talented entertainment executive with a long track record of finding and developing some of the most widely admired and talked about original series in television, Noel Manzano currently serves as Senior Vice President & Head of International Programming & Development for AMC Networks and co-leads AMC Studios.
In his role, he is responsible for identifying and developing original content and stories with diverse creative talent from around the world for the company’s linear entertainment networks, AMC and BBC America, as well several of the company’s growing targeted streaming platforms including AMC+ and Sundance Now. He also co-leads creative strategy for AMC Studios to find external opportunities with other platforms. Manzano oversaw the upcoming third season of the high octane show, Gangs of London. He has also overseen development and production of the Star/Sky UK series, Mary & George, starring Oscar-winner, Julianne Moore and directed by breakout Oliver Hermanus and presided over Monsieur Spade, starring Oscar- Nominee, Clive Owen, and written by Emmy-winner Scott Frank and Tom Fontana and directed by Scott Frank about the famed noir detective, Sam Spade of the Damshiell Hammett novels.
Additional series Manzano has been responsible for include the critical darling BBC America series Mood from BAFTA-winning actor, writer, and singer-songwriter Nicôle Lecky, along with AMC+ originals Kin, and That Dirty Black Bag. Manzano is a graduate from NYU.
