Ready, Steady, Pitch! topic
AMC seeks out visionary creators who want to do more than just tell their audience a story; they want to connect with them. The content must captivate viewers and deliver a unique experience, that prompts them to go from watching our shows to talking about them with friends and family as well as joining and creating active fan bases to discuss reactions, share ideas, and build enthusiasm.
To build this sense of community we focus on calculated audacity and intelligent risk taking. We deliver characters and stories that the audience has never seen before, in worlds that they’ve never imagined. Specifically, we seek iconic characters that usher the audience into unique immersive worlds and tell bold and entertaining stories that highlight the human experience. We take calculated risks on shows that are distinctive, thought-provoking, and thematically rich, always aiming to be part of the cultural conversation.
As part of our growing AMC+ slate of content, we have identified two major areas in which to focus our scripted programming: Fan Acclaimed shows such as SOULMATES, SALISBURY POISONING and RIVIERA, and Epic Worlds shows such as THE WALKING DEAD, THE WATCH and GANGS OF LONDON.
