In the early 2000s Evan worked as a development executive across Europe for Tony Kaye Films in London (American History X), Utopia Films in Lisbon (The Crimes of Father Almadre, Second Life), and Arcadia Moving Pictures in Warsaw (Inheritance, Death Leap). In 2010 his novel Tofu Landing was published in the UK by Quartet Books. Since returning to Australia in 2010 he has worked as the Development Manager at Screen Tasmania, working on a range of projects including the feature film, The Hunter, television series The Kettering Incident, Rosehaven, and The Gloaming, documentaries Death or Liberty and Quoll Farm and online projects such as Australia’s Best Street Racer.
