Alexandra Burke is the co-founder of Arcadia and launched the company’s distribution arm in 2017 with Sundance Audience Award winner First Girl I Loved . In 2020, Arcadia released Peter Strickland’s In Fabric and Monica Zanetti’s Ellie & Abbie (& Ellie’s Dead Aunt). Upcoming releases include I Blame Society by Gillan Wallace Horvat, Gregory Montagne’s no. 1 French hit Perfumes and 2020 Cannes Competition title Passion Simple by Danielle Arbid. Prior to this Alexandra spent 9 years in Copenhagen, Denmark, first with the Nordisk Film International Sales team led by Tine Klint in 2007. In 2008 Alexandra joined producer Carsten Holst ( The 5 Obstructions , Lars von Trier) at von Trier’s Zentropa Film, before leaving to aid Klint’s start-up boutique international sales and digital aggregation company LevelK. During this time as International Sales Manager Alexandra repped Australian films Wish You Were Here, The Little Death , Australia’s Foreign Oscar nomination The Rocket and The Turning, starring Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne alongside titles by Oscar-winner Bille August, Thomas Anders-Jensen and Zaida Bergroth. In 2014, Alexandra was named as one of Screen International's Future Leaders in Sales
