Marketplace Roundtables provide delegates with a unique opportunity to meet local buyers in a relaxed and intimate environment in the Event Centre Marquee. Each roundtable runs for 25 minutes with the opportunity for an extensive Q&A. Roundtable hosts include domestic commissioners and distributors who will share up to date information on their organisation, current trends and invaluable intel about the sort of projects they are looking for.
Ready, Steady, Pitch! is designed to be a high energy, no second chances, fun and fast pitching market for delegates. Hosts include domestic commissioning executives and distributors.
Each pitch session lasts ten minutes and consists of producers pitching their project in five quick minutes to industry buyers and receiving immediate constructive feedback for the next five minutes.
The Domestic Co-production forum will offer the opportunity for independent producers and smaller production companies to meet with potential production partners creating important relationships, partnerships and alliances.
Looking to find yourself a lawyer? Seeking insurance for your next production? Or a gap financier? An opportunity for emerging and early career producers to meet with lawyers, accountants, financiers, post houses & insurers.
PUBLISHERS PITCH AND
PITCH ON DEMAND
Interested in adapting books for the big or small screen? Looking for the next big piece of IP? Producers will have the opportunity to hear from publishers and agents as they showcase their bestselling authors, published books and advanced copies of manuscripts.
The pitch will be followed by a marketplace opportunity in the Event Centre Marquee.
After the huge response to Pitch On Demand with the streamers, POD comes to SF36. POD@SF36 will provide targeted opportunities for producers to meet with Australian buyers about a specific project.
Select buyers will provide a written commissioner brief and delegates will have the opportunity to respond to the brief with a one-page pitch. SPA will facilitate 20-minute one-on-one pitch meetings between the selected producers and the buyers, to take place at SPA Connect.
Pitch On Demand is now closed.
We acknowledge and pay respects to the Yugambeh people of the Gold Coast and all their descendants both past and present. We also acknowledge the many Aboriginal people from other regions as well as Torres Strait and South Sea Islander people who now live in the local area and have made an important contribution to the community.
