SPA Connect Booking FAQs
To provide a more productive experience for hosts and market attendees, the SPA team have restructured Ready, Steady, Pitch! for the upcoming conference to facilitate better matching between projects and buyers.
Registered delegates wishing to secure SPA Connect Market meetings can submit up to three projects they want to pitch at the market to a pool of domestic and global buyers who will have the opportunity to pick the projects that most align with what they want.
This is the best way to secure pitching meetings at the Online Global Market and the in-person SPA Connect Market. Project submissions will be shared with buyers hosting Ready. Steady, Pitch!, and production companies hosting the Production Partnership meetings if applicable.
If there are any remaining meeting spots, they will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis when general bookings open.
Project submissions will open to Gold Coast Badge holders from 9am AEDT on Monday, 10 Feb, until 11:59pm AEDT on Monday, 3 Mar 2025.
By Friday, 28 Mar, buyers and production partners will have selected preferred meetings. These meetings will be booked with registered Gold Coast Badge delegates and visible in your Event Hub.
SPA encourages delegates to register early and submit up to three high-quality projects to maximise their chances of securing meaningful market meetings with local and global buyers, distributors, and production partners.
All delegates registered with a Gold Coast Badge can book SPA Connect meetings. Your Gold Coast Badge gives you access to both the in-person and online global meetings.
There is no pass just for the Online Global Market.
If you haven’t registered, you can do so HERE.
SPA Connect Market meetings take place from 6-8 May 2025, in-person, on the Gold Coast in the Event Centre Marque.
The Online Global Market meetings take place on 29-30 April 2025 via Zoom.

Extensive research is imperative before booking Ready, Steady, Pitch! meetings to be sure you are meeting with the right buyer for your project.
Briefs from each Ready, Steady, Pitch! host will be available on their profile when announced and live on the SCREEN FOREVER 39 website.
Yes, you are welcome to bring pitch materials to show the buyer on your laptop or iPad.
However, given the buzzy nature of the Ready, Steady, Pitch!, we suggest sending any video materials through after the meeting rather than sharing them during the pitch.
At the time of SCREEN FOREVER, all sessions, meetings and events are listed in AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on the SCREEN FOREVER website.
You can adjust the time zone settings to your local time zone on the website or on the mobile app (once released).
If you are participating in the Online Global Market, ensure you set your time zone to AEST while on the ground in Queensland and change back to your local time zone when you return home.
