SCRIPTED TV Though generally genre-agnostic and looking more at shows with a clear and gripping high-concept or a unique, untapped arena, the genres or story-types we are more actively on the lookout for at the moment would be the following: - Playful, Contemporary Whodunnits - Exciting Heist series with a topical social undercurrent - Fun and fast-paced Action series - Romcoms - High Concept Crime Dramas and/or Thrillers, with or without an international angle - Four-quadrant, preferably IP-based series or features - Cross-Generational, Aspirational stories about Education/Teaching/Learning (think Freedom Writers, Dead Poets Society or Dangerous Minds but specific to today’s generational clashes) - Christmas series or features and other seasonal contents Also looking for content within a YA positioning, and generally looking for more diversity PoV’s across all of these genres wherever possible. Each pitch session runs for 15 minutes and consists of producers pitching their project to industry buyers and receiving immediate constructive feedback.
