Paul FitzSimons has over 15 years in the film industry as a producer and a writer. He established production company Prelude Content in 2021 after working as producer, development executive and writer on feature films, TV Dramas and TV Dramas.

He recently produced the feature film VERDIGRIS, which premiered at the 2023 Galway Film Fleadh, where it won the festival’s Best Independent Film Award. He also won awards at the Newport Beach Film Festival in California, the Irish Film Festival in London and at the Kerry International Film Festival. Paul is currently developing films and TV dramas, working with leading writers, directors and producers in the UK, Spain, Japan and the US. He will produce the horror film LONDON’S CRAWLING and the thriller A COLD SNAP in 2024.

Prior to setting up Prelude Content, Paul was Development Executive at production company Danú Media. He also wrote and produced the feature film THE GIFT (OC Productions, 15A) in 2017. He teaches screenwriting and film development at the National Talent Academy. Paul holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Film Production
