Biography
Ellie Madritsch is a Sydney-based Development Producer at Fremantle Australia. Coming from a background in Philosophy and Literature at the University of Sydney, she began her career in the screen industry interning at the ABC, before moving into Scripted Development at Fremantle in 2017. In 2019 Ellie launched Fremantle’s “Next” initiative, a talent escalator for emerging writers focusing on short form content as a pathway to tell original stories. In 2022 Ellie Associate Produced TOTALLY COMPLETELY FINE for Sundance Now and Stan. Ellie is currently working on a slate of projects geared towards international streamers with Australian and British talent at the helm. She is passionate about stories that traverse the whole spectrum of the human condition driven by world-class Australian talent.
