Established in 2009 and now led by CEO Drew Grove and Head of Content Mike Jones, ECP is one of Australia’s most successful independent production companies.

Every Cloud have long been leaders in adult crime-drama and mystery TV series and this remains a key area for us along with an increasingly diverse slate that encompasses comedy/dramedy, half-hour formats, SVOD features, and children’s content. We are particularly interested in established IP from book, podcast and other sources. We favour stories with a tonal mix of light and dark, drama and humour, and our production focus is aimed at global reach and international audiences.

Biography
Mike Jones is a screen producer & writer whose diverse body of work has garnered numerous accolades including AACTA, Emmy, Rockie, AWG, Logie, SPA, and ADG awards. Mike is Head of Content and Development at Every Cloud Productions, one of Australia’s foremost independent screen production companies, where he oversees a dynamic slate of series and feature projects. ECP's recent productions include mystery series ‘Eden', period crime-drama ‘Ms Fisher’s Modern Mysteries', hit comedy features ‘A Sunburnt Christmas' and 'Christmas Ransom', AACTA winning youth drama, 'Deadlock', and forthcoming feature film 'Windcatcher'. Mike has long been a highly-regarded script developer and has previously worked with companies including the ABC, WarnerBros, Jungle, and Princess Pictures. As story editor Mike collaborated on major international TV series including mystery-drama ‘The Gloaming’ and multi award-winning supernatural series ‘The Kettering Incident’. He was co-creator and writer of award-winning 13-part supernatural mystery drama, The Orchard, starring Eric Bana for Amazon's Audible. For the ABC he was story producer of Emmy-nominated ‘Wrong Kind of Black' as well much loved comic-drama series ‘F*cking Adelaide’ and ‘Other People’s Problems’. He oversaw script development of the anthology series ‘Deadhouse Dark’ released globally on US streaming network Shudder as well as collaborating on CannesSeries winning horror-comedy ‘Over and Out’, and award-winning genre short films ‘Rebooted’, and ‘The Hitchhiker’. Mike is an active member of Screen Producers Australia (SPA), the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) .
