Emilie works across Acquisitions and Development at Protagonist, where she supports the company’s film and television projects with a focus on nurturing new talent. Most recently, she has worked across the Sundance 2024 title The Outrun, directed by Nora Fingscheidt and starring Saoirse Ronan and Paapa Essiedu, as well as the psychological horror The Damned, directed by Thordur Palsson and starring Odessa Young and Joe Cole, shot on location in Iceland. Other upcoming titles includes films by directors Polly Findley, Guy Maddin, Karan Kandhari, Jan-Ole Gerster, and David and Nathan Zellner. Prior to joining Protagonist in 2021, Emilie worked across Acquisitions at Focus Features in Los Angeles, and then Development at London-based production company Normal Life Pictures.
