Corey Schmalzle is a Director of Programming and Development at AMC Networks, working across AMC, AMC+, SundanceNow and BBC America. In this role, he works across both the development of original programming and the ongoing creative needs of co-productions with international partners. He has worked with See-Saw Films on the AMC+ original series FIREBITE, Monumental Pictures on the SundanceNow original series SANCTUARY: A WITCH’S TALE and helped oversee GANGS OF LONDON, MONSIEUR SPADE, and THE LOVERS. In addition to current series, he helps oversee a slate of projects in various stages of development under both the AMC Networks and AMC Studios umbrellas. Before his time at AMC, Schmalzle began his career in the talent and literary departments at UTA. He is a graduate of Lehigh University.
