Jennie is a visual effects professional with more than 20 years project and business management experience. In her role as President at Rising Sun Pictures (RSP), Jennie oversees the strategic initiatives and day to day operations of RSP, including studios both in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Over the decade Jennie has helped cement the award-winning business as a global visual effects (VFX) powerhouse, a Trusted Creative Partner to filmmakers worldwide, and a valued Australian success story.

As a keen visual effects and film industry advocate, Jennie has a thorough understanding of national and international productions and competing film making jurisdictions; she also has a deep understanding of Australian’s comparative advantages, as well as technological, and external factors that affect the film industry at large. In 2018, Jennie helped set RSP on a new path, joining forces with the Australian Institute of Machine Learning (AIML) embedding post-doctoral researchers inside of RSP to develop tools and processes that utilise machine learning in for VFX. These tools and processes have been used on over 20 high profile films and series, including ELVIS and Thor: Love and Thunder, and has recently been branded as REVIZETM.

Jennie has a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Jennie is a current board member of Ausfilm and has served on the Australian section of the Visual Effects Society.
