Wendy Thomas is an Emmy-nominated producer and the Director of Programming at BYUtv. Wendy is deeply involved in the development and production of the network’s slate and oversees all acquisitions and co-productions for the network, including standout Emmy-nominated series Malory Towers (CBBC/King Bert) and A Kind of Spark (CBBC/9 Story Media Group). She additionally develops partnerships with global networks, production companies, and experienced independent producers to cultivate world-class content. A spirited supporter of BYUtv’s initiative to provide university students with professional out-of-the-classroom experiences in the media industry, Wendy is proud to encourage and mentor various students in a variety of roles as she works to bring the inspiring and uplifting messages of BYUtv to audiences around the globe. Wendy is a graduate from Brigham Young University and loves calling the Wasatch range home.
