Biography
Jorjia is a proud saltwater woman of the Budawang tribe of the Yuin Nation and was raised on Awabakal land.

Jorjia is a Development & Investment Manager in the First Nations Department at Screen Australia. Her previous roles include working at Creative Australia in digital arts as the Manager First Nations, Industry Initiatives and previously as the Project Manager of First Nations Arts and Culture.

With a background in script development, she was Creative Associate at Playwriting Australia and Arts Educator at Bell Shakespeare. In 2020, Jorjia was named the Balnaves Fellow of the Balnaves Fellowship, which is an evolution of the prestigious Balnaves Foundation Indigenous Playwright Award. Jorjia holds a Bachelor of Theatre and Performance from the University of New England and a Diploma in Performance Practices at the Australian College of Theatre and Television.
