Screenrights is a non-profit organisation that pays secondary royalties to content creators; licenses educators, government and retransmitters to use broadcast programs; and provides rights and royalty management services to the screen industry. Our services include secondary royalty collection in Australia, New Zealand, and around the world, disbursements and collection account management, residuals, industry advocacy, and an annual Cultural Fund with grants of up to $50,000 per project for initiatives that foster the creation and appreciation of screen content.
Biography
Emma Madison is a screen industry executive with deep experience in rights management and royalty distribution. She works at the intersection between screen business and technology. Emma is developing a range of new solutions for the industry to help navigate recoupment of investment and understand the financial performance of content in an increasingly fragmented market. Emma has an MBA(x) in Tech and is a recipient of The Anita Prabhu Women Leaders in Business Award by the AGSM, Australia’s leading business school.
