Will Hamilton is the Director of Commercial and Business Operations, overseeing the strategic, commercial, and operational facets of the local production business. He works closely with partners across FTA, STV, SVOD, brands, digital, and social platforms to maximise the value and reach of locally produced original and format IP, including its ancillary exploitation. Will began his career in the UK before relocating to Australia in 2001 and brings over 30 years of industry experience. He has held senior leadership roles, including Director of Production at Fremantle and Eureka Productions, and Business Director at Seven Studios, where he worked across commissioning and internal production.

In addition to producing over 100 hours of content in the last 12 months, BBC Studios ANZ has capitalised on its expertise to service the international market in Australia. As a Global Content Studio, the business is well placed and strongly connected to deliver production services for the international market. It is currently in production, partnering with the UK’s Clerkenwell Films (Baby Reindeer, The End Of The F*ing World) on their latest global Netflix production, Breakers. It is also carrying out production services for the Hulu/ABC‑US entertainment series, Next Pro Dancer.
