Biography
Deborah Liebling has been an influential film and television producer and studio executive. Most recently, she produced JULES, starring Sir Ben Kingsley, which won the Audience Award at the 2023 Sonoma Film Festival and Columbia Pictures’ 65, starring Adam Driver. She is Executive Producer of Emmy-nominated Hulu series, PEN15; BUFFALO TENS, a new comedy for FOX; and MAKING FRIENDS, an upcoming comedy series for Netflix AU.

Deborah is in pre-production as Producer of TREES & PH.D’S, written and to be directed by Stephanie Allynne, with Tig Notaro producing; IKEAVILLE, starring Kit Harington, Maya Erskine, Ke Huy Quan and Kate McKinnon, written and to be directed by Michael Vukadinovich; HOT MESS, starring Emma Roberts, written by Gabrielle D’Amico and to be directed by Katie Locke O'Brien; and PROCLIVITAS, written and to be directed by Miley Tunnecliffe, which was recently selected as the 2023 West Coast Visions initiative winner. Recently, Deborah produced JANE (starring Madelaine Petsch, Chloe Bailey, Melissa Leo) and UNPLUGGING (starring Eva Longoria, Matt Walsh). Her film PLUS ONE, won the Audience Award at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and streams on Hulu.

Previously, Deborah was President of Red Hour Films where she produced four new TV series, including ANOTHER PERIOD. Prior to that, she was President of Production at Universal Pictures, President of Fox Atomic Pictures, Executive Vice President of Features at 20th Century Fox, and was the chief development and production executive for Comedy Central, where she was solely responsible for the development and realization of SOUTH PARK.
