Biography
Josephine is VP of Scripted Acquisitions and Co-Productions at Studio TF1 (previously called Newen Connect). She is charged with acquisitions and co-productions in English-speaking territories and Scandinavia to expand the company's scripted portfolio, building strong relationships with global anglophone producers and acquiring and co-producing high-quality English-language scripted content principally from the UK, US and Australia that resonates with audiences worldwide.

Most recently, she led the team negotiating a partnership with Jude Law’s Riff Raff Entertainment, aimed at developing original scripted projects and tapping into new creative talent.
Josephine has extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Before joining Newen Connect, she was previously senior global content executive - scripted at ITV Studios where she managed one-on-one relationships with production companies on behalf of ITV Studios. Before that, she was account executive – Italy, scripted & kids at BBC Studios.

Newen Connect is one of Europe’s leading distribution companies, wholly owned by Newen Studios (a TF1 Group Company). The business boasts a rich slate that includes over 800 feature films and 18,000 hours of TV content spanning all genres, including scripted series, documentaries, and animation that has been created by both its in-house production teams and third-party global producers.

Television

We are seeking scripted, hour-long drama series (either returning or serialized) with global appeal, with a minimum of 6 hours. We are open to a range of genres, including crime, thrillers, romance, feel-good series, high-concept narratives, and IP adaptations.

We have a strong preference for co-productions with European territories or projects with coproduction potential. While we prioritize female-led series, we are open to all types of projects, excluding those that are strongly YA-focused.

We are open to exploring a variety of partnership opportunities and are happy to engage in discussions to explore potential collaborations.
