Ana Tiwary (she/her) runs the production company indiVisual films - international that specialises in authentic multicultural stories for global audiences. Her company received Screen Australia Enterprise Business Funding for 2024/2025. As part of this support Guneet Monga and Kiran Rao are on board as business and creative consultants. Three projects on her slate were selected for International co-production markets last year. Ana was born in India, holds a Masters in Film from the US, and has lived/worked in many different parts of the world. From Bollywood films to National Geographic Channel, Ana has experience working across factual as well as features. She has produced over 25 documentaries for ABC TV and other networks. In 2015, Ana was a SPA ‘Ones to Watch’ producer. A few years ago, she co-produced the first Asian Australian rom-com ‘Rhapsody of Love’. Ana created the Diversity in Australian Media community 15 years ago and is an advocate for equity, social justice and safe spaces. She has served on the Board of Women in Film & TV Australia and Screen Australia’s Gender Matters Task Force. Ana has a slate of exciting features and series in development with some of Australia’s most talented writers of colour.
