Alexandra Burke is a Producer and Head of Acquisitions at Midnight (formerly Arcadia), an award-winning Australian production and distribution company. She co-created and executive produced While The Men Are Away for SBS, nominated for 2024 AACTA Best Mini-Series and selected for the 2024 Berlinale Series Selects.
Alex's executive producer credits include Sissy (SXSW 2022), Peter Strickland’s Blank Narcissus (San Sebastián 2022), AACTA-winner Ellie and Abbie (& Ellie’s Dead Aunt), 2067 (Netflix), and In Vitro (SFF 2024).
Alex began her career in international sales at Nordisk Film, Denmark, and in production at Lars von Trier’s Zentropa.
Arcadia is looking for feature films for all rights distribution, genre agnostic, creatively ambitious, as well as production partners for features and series.
