Biography
Sara Richardson is one of Australia’s leading production creatives, and is currently overseeing the production of NCIS: Sydney, an Endemol Shine Australia production in partnership with CBSS for Paramount+ Australia. The first international iteration of the franchise, the third series is currently in production.

Producing the first season of the domestically and internationally acclaimed RFDS for the Seven Network, Sara executive produced the TV Week Logie Award winning second season, with the third currently in post-production. Her other executive producer credits include The Claremont Murders for the Seven Network, Bali: 2002 for Stan and Underbelly: Vanishing Act for the Nine Network.

In her previous role, as Channel 10’s Network Drama Executive, Sara worked across the development and production of the critically acclaimed thriller The Secret She Keeps and the celebrated drama Five Bedrooms, as well as My Life is Murder, Sisters, the final season of Offspring, the special event mini-series Wake In Fright, the second season of The Wrong Girl, two seasons of Playing For Keeps and the perennially popular Neighbours.

Previously, Sara spent over five years at Playmaker Media working in drama development across titles including The Wrong Girl, House Husbands, Love Child, The Code and Hiding. She joined Playmaker from Essential Media and Entertainment, where she worked across Development & Business Affairs for over two years including on iconic series Rake and Jack Irish.

As Endemol Shine Australia’s Head of Scripted, Sara is developing a drama slate for domestic and international audiences with a key focus on unearthing new talent.
