Biography
Carla de Jong is an Emmy Award-winning producer who has held various roles both as a producer and broadcaster in Australia, Canada and the UK. Before joining Sinking Ship Entertainment, she was Head of Commissioning and Development for ABC Australia and Executive in Charge of Production and Development at CBC Kids in Canada.
Carla has created and produced a number of successful children’s series for the BBC in the UK and Network Ten in Australia and served as Executive Producer for numerous live-action and animated series including Beyond Black Beauty (Amazon Prime Video), Odd Squad (TVO/PBS/CBBC), Builder Brothers Dream Factory (Treehouse) and Ghostwriter (Apple TV+). Carla’s work has been recognized both locally and internationally at the Daytime Emmy Awards, the BAFTAS, the Kidscreen Awards, The Prix Jeunesse Awards and the BANFF World Media Awards.

Sinking Ship Entertainment is seeking co-production partners in the areas of live-action and animated series for Kids and Family, Family Feature Films, Adult Animation, and scripted YA projects. We are also seeking completed series in the kids and family space for distribution, where rights are available in multiple territories.
