Tania Koenig-Gauchier is a Métis (Cree) television producer from Canada’s West Coast. She has a production company called Wapanatahk (‘morning star’) Media which develops and produces scripted and unscripted series for major broadcasters. The vision for her company is to create entertaining content that is sold around the world while also elevating Indigenous characters, stories and media creatives. Right now, she is working with an Australian production company on a children's animation that is the first all-Indigenous Canada - Australia co-production in the world.

Tania has a service partnership in place with Great Pacific Media, a Canadian leader in factual television.
