Biography
Sarah Timmins is a Canadian scripted producer and executive, having most recently worked as an executive producer on the award-winning NBC/CTV medical drama Transplant – airing in 165 countries worldwide.

Sarah has held executive positions at Shaftesbury Films, Collective Pictures and marblemedia. She is an Executive Producer on the recently released feature film Float (starring Robbie Amell, Lionsgate, Collective Pictures/Wattpad Studios).

She has developed and produced content with broadcast and streaming partners including NBCU, Paramount+, Bell Media, Disney, CBC, AMC and Netflix.

Sarah founded Toronto-based production company Black Birds Entertainment, which is currently developing scripted comedy and drama television projects with domestic and international partners. Previous projects for Black Birds include the live-action supernatural comedy series Todd & The Book of Pure Evil and the animated feature film that completed the series. The feature film The Tracey Fragments, starring Elliott Page premiered opening night of the Berlin Film Festival in 2008.

Toronto-based Black Birds Entertainment (formerly Corvid Pictures) produces screen media combining the talents of partners Sarah Timmins and Craig Wallace with Canadian and international partners.

Previous projects include the animated feature length film Todd&The Book of Pure Evil:The End of The End. The film concluded the stories of the cult-hit, live-action supernatural comedy series Todd & The Book of Pure Evil , which was the first television series to be featured at the SXSW Film Festival. Black Birds produced award-winning short films and the acclaimed feature film The Tracey Fragments starring Elliot Page.

As a Director and Executive Producer, Emmy-award winning Craig Wallace has contributed to series including Dead Still (RTÉ/Acorn), Slasher (Netflix), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Dark Matter (SyFy), and Freakish (Hulu).
