We also look for character-driven dramas exploring human complexity (The Newsreader, Total Control, Plum) and high-stakes, culturally resonant narratives (The Slap, After the Party).
Comedy is central to ABC’s identity, and we seek series that are returnable (Fisk, Utopia), boundary-pushing, or full of heart (Please Like Me, In Limbo). We also remain committed to landmark true Australian stories (Fires, Stateless).
