Cyna Strachan is a producer and co-founder of Mad Ones Films. With a background in music, art, and design, she brings a distinct creative approach to storytelling, with a focus on queer and female-driven narratives.

Cyna has worked across production and post-production on Australian and international projects, including UPGRADE (Goalpost Pictures/Blumhouse), I AM WOMAN (Goalpost Pictures), and LAMBS OF GOD (Lingo). She has also produced a slate of award-winning short films that have screened at major festivals, including ADULT (SXSW 2017), YOU AND ME BEFORE AND AFTER (TIFF 2021), and STRANGERS (Iris Prize).

From 2020-2021, she was a Production Executive at Aquarius Films, and worked across THE UNUSUAL SUSPECTS (SBS) and BORN TO SPY (ABC Kids), and was an Associate Producer on LOVE ME S1 (BINGE) and SAVAGE RIVER (ABC). In 2022, she was selected as a SPA Ones to Watch where she mentored by Alastair McKinnon (Matchbox Pictures).

In 2024 Cyna co-produced JIMPA, an international co-production directed by Sophie Hyde and starring Olivia Colman and John Lithgow, which premiered at Sundance 2025 and will be released theatrically later this year.
