Migrating from Iran, MahVeen found her film family in Australia and co-founded Thousand Mile Productions, a company committed to bringing captivating and socially conscious stories to the screen.

Her journey as a producer has been marked by award-winning films, including the fan-favorite Ellie & Abbie (and Ellie's Dead Aunt), The Rooster (starring Hugo Weaving and Phoenix Raei), and The Translator, a collaboration with French company Georges Films, starring Miranda Tapsell and David Field.

In 2020, MahVeen was selected as one of Screen Producers Australia’s "Ones to Watch", and in 2024, Inside Film Magazine named her a Rising Talent in Producing.

Passionate about storytelling, MahVeen strives to bring together talented individuals to create diverse, impactful screen projects. She also dreams of fostering a healthier work-life balance in the industry.
