Quan Phung is a creative executive and producer with 25 years of experience in the US and global television industry. He’s held key creative positions at industry leading studios, networks, start-up ventures and independent production companies.

He is currently developing a slate of scripted television series and features through his own banner Miquan Productions and serves as an advisor to Australian production company Magpie Pictures (SWIFT STREET). He is an executive producer on OPERATOR, a series based on the Wondery podcast of the same name that is set up at Amazon Prime Video. And he has drama projects in development with filmmakers Andrew Haigh (ALL OF US STRANGERS), Nikyatu Jusu (NANNY), Macario De Souza (SIX FESTIVALS) and Viet Nguyen (CRUSH THE SKULL).

From 2019 to 2024, he was Senior Vice President, Original Series at Topic/First Look Media, a New York-based film, television and podcast company (A REAL PAIN, 100 FOOT WAVE). At Topic, he founded the company’s scripted television division in Los Angeles and led a team that sold projects to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV+ and Peacock. In addition, he initiated partnerships with international producers Riff Raff, Sphere, and 24 Drafts.

Previously, he consulted for STX Entertainment and has led creative affairs at Slingshot Global Media, Bluegrass Television, 20th Century Fox Television Studios, Fox Broadcasting Company, and NBC. He executive produced the comedy series WHITNEY and developed the Emmy Award-winning series HOUSE, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, and MY NAME IS EARL.
