Joel Slack-Smith is the author of the hilarious ‘Roarsome’ book series. Roarsome is Joel’s first book, but he has been writing funny stuff for kids for years. As a screenwriter, Joel has written on kid’s animations, sitcoms and sketch shows, as well as a bunch of programmes aimed at adults. Joel has won three AWGIE Awards for comedy writing, and has also been nominated in the Children’s and Animation categories. Roarsome was recently named by Dymock’s as Children’s Book of the Month.
