Biography
Joanna Beveridge is a writer and producer based in Western Sydney. She has a double degree in Nuclear Medicine and Digital Media, and she has worked as a Creative Producer for companies such as Network Ten, NBCUniversal, ITV Studios, and Warner Bros. She was selected for Screen NSW's Emerging Producer Placement, Screen Producers Australia 'Ones to Watch' program, and SPA’s Practitioner Program.

Jo is known for her love of romance in film, which led her to producing the Screen Australia financed digital series, NO ORDINARY LOVE (a story inspired by Korean romance dramas). She also created the Screen Australia funded digital series, SHIPPERS (series producer, writer, director), which pays homage to fangirls who love romance in pop culture.

Additional achievements include being shortlisted for the Sundance Episodic Writer’s Lab (for her Pony Club / zombie apocalypse drama ZONE 5), making the long-list for the Australian Writer’s Guild Monte Miller Award and John Hinde Award, she was a recipient of the Create NSW & Screenworks ‘GO VIRAL’ grant, a writer for an ABC Fresh Fund web series, and she’s been a semi-finalist in many international screenwriting competitions, including the BlueCat Screenwriting competition and Screencraft’s Comedy Competition.
