Miet is an experienced entertainment lawyer with a strong background in film and television development, financing and production. She began her career in private practice at Marshalls, Dent & Wilmoth Lawyers, where she advised on numerous Australian and international productions. In late 2024, Miet moved to Sanctuary Pictures and Umbrella Entertainment, where she leads in-house legal and business affairs, working across production, distribution, and rights management. As she expands her expertise in film production, she is actively involved in Sanctuary’s first feature film, set to shoot in 2025. With a deep understanding of the legal and commercial intricacies of the screen industry, Miet brings a unique perspective to navigating the evolving entertainment landscape.

Sanctuary Pictures is a relatively new production company with its first feature film shooting in May 2025. The Sanctuary slate is brimming with projects in the early through to late development stage, across multiple genres from a drag-queen comedy through to a sci-fi horror set on Mars. Sanctuary is primarily looking for financial partnerships, investors and sales interest for its current slate – but is always open to adding to its slate for the right project!
