Biography
Linda is Creative Director and a Co-Founder of JOY Studios, an independent, proudly female owned storytelling studio that produces unashamedly commercial, attention grabbing screen stories with a cheeky edge from Australia’s brightest voices.

With over 25 years in development and production, Linda is an award winning producer who has worked across both the independent production sector and major networks, including SEVEN STUDIOS, SEVEN NETWORK, FREEHAND/BBC WORLDWIDE and NETWORK TEN. Genre hopping over this time, Linda has created, developed and produced numerous scripted and unscripted shows for commercial broadcasters, pay TV channels and streamers.

Prior to co-founding JOY, Linda was KOJO Studios’ Creative Director/Executive Producer from 2020, establishing and leading KOJO ORIGINALS, and joint venture THE ALLIANCE (KOJO x Stampede Ventures USA). During this time Linda curated a vibrant development slate and produced AACTA award winning dark comedy, A BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO GRIEF (SBS/Viceland), the multiple award nominated and gleefully anarchic comedy series, GOLD DIGGERS (ABC/CBS Studios), and Paul Schrader’s film MASTER GARDENER (Venice Film Festival 2022) starring Sigourney Weaver and Joel Edgerton.

Excited by the disruption reshaping the industry, Linda is passionate about pushing creative boundaries, championing the next generation of Australian storytellers, finding innovative ways to reach global audiences and redefining the rules of show business for a new era of entertainment.
