Biography
Lexi Landsman is a development executive at BBC Studios ANZ, where she works across a diverse slate of original projects and format adaptations. With more than 15 years of experience spanning development, production and post-production, she has an in-depth knowledge of the television marketplace and a proven track record of reimagining global formats as well as developing original programs from the ground up.
Before joining BBC, Lexi was Fremantle’s Head of Development, and prior to that she held senior roles at ITV and the Seven Network. She co-created the crime series ‘Con Girl’ with CJZ. Some of her other development credits include ‘The Secret DNA of US’ (SBS) , ‘The Piano’ (ABC), ‘Tony Armstrong’s Extra-Ordinary Things’ (ABC), ‘Alone’ (SBS), ‘My Kitchen Rules’ (Channel 7) and ‘My Mum, Your Dad’ (Channel 9).
Lexi is an author of two novels, published by Penguin Random House – ‘The Ties That Bind’ and ‘The Perfect Couple’. The latter is in scripted development for an adaptation into an 8-part psychological thriller series.
