Renée Brack is a writer, producer and occasional director - a screen professional with 20+ years’ experience in film, TV, print and digital. She’s written, produced and directed films; scripted and directed plays produced in the world’s largest play festival, Short+Sweet, and made a multitude of content for television. She has the Mandible Media rights catalogue of 13 titles.

As a writer, producer and director, she has created award-winning work such as Ticketyboo (2022), Carshare (2024) and scripted the award-winning short film Red Handed (2017) which screened in multiple international film festivals, directed by Tony Tilse.

She now develops original screen stories with universal themes and broad appeal. A 4-part novel is ready for consideration by publishers and screen agents. Her PhD research explores the role of the impact producer charting alternative pathways to funding and audience, and how strategies in documentary/factual are applied to drama/fiction.

A common response to her work is, “I’ve never looked at it that way before” – testament to her creative and fresh approach to the screen stories she crafts.
